The importance of the Technical Audit Process

With any development placed via One Guarantee we will ensure to undertake a sufficient number of Technical Audits to satisfy not only our AA-rated insurers but also the Developer that upon Practical Completion every relevant aspect of the build has been discussed and assessed in accordance with the One Guarantee Technical Manual and relevant policy wording.

Given we offer 8 different policy types, the Technical Audit process can differ depending upon the policy applicable. We undertake a minimum of 5 inspections from the foundations, DPC, superstructure, roof and final sign off for any of the following:

New Home, Private Rental, Social Housing, Self-Build and Commercial development.

A conversion, completed or mixed development will differ in number of Audits but that does not mean our process will be any less thorough and vigorous. One Guarantee only use a carefully selected panel of Approved Inspectors who can offer nationwide coverage, mindful that such close working relationships will ensure a robust Technical Audit process, regardless of development type.

One Guarantee staff also look to visit developments where possible, keen to ensure we see a project first-hand as well as build long standing, mutually beneficial relationships with our clients for many years to come.
